I installed Zoom for the first time yesterday on my laptop, I had one meeting. Ever since, no volume at all is working on my computer. However, my microphone is working fine. I have same issue on Mac for last 2 weeks I have 45 years in IT so believe me when i say it is a Zoom problem. Thank you for your response! I guess I'll just keep updating Zoom on this computer and use a tablet until this gets resolved. This is a new problem that's popped up in the past few weeks! Very frustrating! Same problem. Zoom audio worked just fine last night. This morning it fails to detect audio. What happened overnight?! Same problem with my mom's laptop. I have the same issue on my Lenovo.
I have used the same laptop for 2 years and never had an audio problem with Zoom. Now suddenly no speakers detected. No problem with my speakers at all in any other application just as other commenters have noted. Is Zoom doing anything to address this issue? Our IT help desk shared a work around. Use Zoom from browser.
